Democratic People's Republic of Korea has launched a rocket and it was confirmed by the United States, Japan and South Korea...According to sources from Russia, South Korea the satellite is apparently carried by the rocket...This rocket firing by DPRK has risen tensions between the nations in the Asian region..But North Korea maintained that the rockets are for peaceful purpose..The US says that it is a Taepo-dong 2 missile and that it had violated the UN Security council rules..The UN Security Council approved an emergency session to deal with the rocket launch as Japan submitted a formal request letter...
